Pack toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, and more for kids’ healthy, happy smiles. Benefitting the Jewish Federation's community partner, Mercy Learning Center.

How: $36 per family to cover supplies. Can't make it? Sponsor a dental kit for $10.

Each month PJ Library hosts a different mitzvah project for children and parents to do together. We partner with local organizations to help others in meaningful ways. This is a wonderful opportunity to show our children the joy and importance of giving back to the community we live in. 

Mercy Learning Center in Bridgeport serves more than 450 women, offering free English language learning classes, general education classes and a GED track for women to earn their high school diplomas. In addition, they run a fully certified early childhood education program from birth – five years of age for the children of their students, enabling the women to have free child-care while they are learning. It is a comprehensive program, offering a range of social services and a food pantry.
